OUR RABBI

Rabbi Yosef Alt

A native of snowy Buffalo, NY, Rabbi Alt joined Golf Manor Synagogue in 2018. He received his Rabbinic Ordination from Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, MD. Over the course of his studies, Rabbi Alt spent two years studying abroad in the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem. Before moving to Cincinnati, Rabbi Alt spent three years in Atlanta, GA, engaged in continued studies and community work as a member of the Atlanta Scholars Kollel. Since his arrival in Cincinnati in 2018, Rabbi Alt has dedicated himself to GMS and its members. He brings Torah to our congregation in the forms of education, inspiration, and guidance. Rabbi Alt's wife, Tova, is a native Cincinnatian. They are the proud parents of four wonderful children.
